Sa Liu is a doctoral student in Learning Technology program at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests include the game based learning, instructional design and how to apply technology to improve learning and teaching. She is currently part of a research project examining the usability of Social Networking Website for learning English, Alien Rescue, and iPad initiative. She has many conferences presentations and publications.
In 2008, Sa started her career as a teacher. She taught Computer Science and Geography to high school students in the Tibetan autonomous region of China for one year, and taught Chinese language to Japanese students for one year. She is currently working as a graduate assistant for instructional design at Pickle Research Campus at the University of Texas at Austin.
Sa holds an M.A. in Education from Peking University (2012) and a B.S. in Computer Science (2008) from Peking University in China.
